Zochil Eagan is the founder of A Para Pro and a former paraprofessional with experience supporting students with significant needs and working in high school settings.
She created A Para Pro to give paraprofessionals access to guidance, development, and support created specifically for their role.
Zochil is entering her third school year providing paid professional development for public school districts. She has trained groups of 30 to 50 paraprofessionals through virtual sessions, in-person workshops, prerecorded presentations, full-day professional development, and school-year training packages.
Her training focuses on clear expectations, realistic school situations, practical application, and respect for the professional role paraprofessionals hold.
